Elohim Moses and Prophet Aaron
Exodus 6:28-7:13
Egypt was a land where its society and people worshiped many gods and was ruled by a king who surrounded himself with magicians, sorcerers, and wise men. It was to this land that YeHoVaH designated Moses as a god and his brother Aaron a prophet. If in fact Pharaoh, king of Egypt, was considered to be a god, as stated by many, YeHoVaH elevated Moses to be his equal. Likewise, Aaron, Moses’ spokesperson, was a counterpart to the magicians, sorcerers, and wise men who surrounded Pharaoh.
