The Instructions given by YeHoVaH to Moses, contained in the Law, were established to bring order and harmony to the newly developed nation. The Law would enable Brothers to be able to dwell together in unity when they took possession of the land promised to the Children of Israel. The Law provided blessings as incentives to motivate YeHoVaH’s people to obey His Law and curses to discourage His people from breaking His Law. In this portion of Deuteronomy 28, we will examine the blessings of obeying YeHoVaH’s Law.

What blessings does YeHoVaH promise for obeying His Law in Deuteronomy 28? In Deuteronomy 28, YeHoVaH promises abundant blessings for those who obey His Law. These include prosperity, protection, victory over enemies, fruitful harvests, and a thriving nation. The Law was given to establish order and unity amongst the Israelites as they entered the Promised Land. These blessings served as incentives to encourage obedience, ensuring that YeHoVaH’s people would prosper under His Covenant.
