Each year before the Abib Barley search and New Moon observation to declare when the New Year begins, there is much discussion and controversy on where to look, what type of fields to investigate, how much needs to be found, etc.

For us, not having eyes on the ground in Israel, we try to avoid the various Abib controversies and confusion. We do not align ourselves with any of the sources. We read the reports, view the photos, listen to the videos, and then make the best decision we can with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to declare the Biblical New Year has begun.

However, when asked what sources we use, we want to be transparent. Therefore, we have to either not reveal our sources or tell inquirers the reports that we use and make a disclaimer concerning the various Aviv Barley Reports.
