YeHoVaH brought the tribes of Israel out of Egypt as armies. He established Israel as a nation, gave Israel Laws to govern themselves as a people, and established His Presence amongst them. YeHoVaH had the Priests minister unto Him in the Tabernacle on behalf of the people.

YeHoVaH instructed that the tribes be numbered, according to their ability to go to battle, and established their tribal camp formation around the Tabernacle.
