Yet, when we examine the teachings of Yeshua and His Apostles, we discover that the Church was never intended to be merely a religious institution, a weekly gathering, or an organization focused on maintaining its existence.

What is the purpose of the Church Yeshua said He would build? Arthur Bailey teaches that the purpose is reconciliation. Just as Moses was assigned to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt, Yeshua was assigned to reconcile creation back to YeHoVaH, and the New Covenant is that reconciliation. Yeshua did not say He would build a Catholic church, a Protestant church, or any denominational church. He said He would build His Church, and those who are part of it identify with Him, listen to what He actually said, including the hard sayings, and do the works He did. YeHoVaH sent Yeshua as His ambassador, and Yeshua sends ambassadors who represent the One who sent them. That is why every Believer has a part in the work: to become a disciple, mature in the faith, and become a capable minister able to make disciples.
