After giving the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel and the mixed multitude assembled with them, the people became so afraid of the thunder and lightning, trumpet blasting, and the mountain smoking that they trembled with fear, stayed at a distance and began to withdraw from the presence of the Almighty.
YeHoVaH declared His glory by destroying the Egyptians who afflicted His people. This fulfilled the promise YeHoVaH made to Abraham over four hundred years earlier. The deliverance of Israel out of Egyptian bondage was so dynamic, majestic, powerful, and miraculous that Moses wrote A Song of Deliverance depicting the mighty power of YeHoVaH Almighty that is still being sung to this very day.
The subject of eternal life was a cause for concern for many Hebrew Israelites in the days of Yeshua the Messiah. All four Gospel narratives cover the subject of eternal life and Yeshua teaches on eternal life extensively in its connection with the Law.
