The Book of the Law contains the Covenant relationship between YeHoVaH and His people including the Instructions for living life in the Kingdom of God, aka the Commonwealth of Israel. After the death of Moses, the servant of YeHoVaH, Joshua, Moses' minister, was given the responsibility to finish the job Moses started by leading the Children of Israel into the Promised Land. Joshua was given strict Instructions concerning the Book of the Law on how to succeed and accomplish his mission.

What role did the Book of the Law play in Joshua’s leadership? The Book of the Law served as Joshua’s divine guide for leading Israel into the Promised Land. It contained YeHoVaH’s Covenant, Instructions for righteous living, and principles for success in the Kingdom. Joshua was commanded to meditate on it day and night and to obey it fully. By doing so, he would ensure success, prosperity, and faithfulness to YeHoVaH’s plan for His people.
