What is the Feast of Tabernacles?

The Feast of Tabernacles is a 7-day Feast of YeHoVaH. It is one of the three Pilgrimage Feasts; those commanded to celebrate it were required to celebrate at the place designated by YeHoVaH.

It is from the 15th day through the 21st day of the 7th month.

• Leviticus 23:34

It commemorates when YeHoVaH made the Children of Israel to dwell in booths when He brought them out of Egypt.

• Leviticus 23:42-43

All of Israel and those who join themselves to Israel should celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This includes the native born and those grafted in.

We celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles because it is commanded by YeHoVaH.

• Leviticus 23:23-24
• Deuteronomy 16:13

We celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles by

• Erecting a temporary booth
• Gathering on the 1st day for a Holy Convocation. It is a Sabbath Day.
• Waving goodly branches
• Rejoicing in YeHoVaH’s presence with other believers
• Communing with the Saints
• Leviticus 23:35-43

7 Days – From the 15th day through the 21st day of the 7th month.

We are to gather with fellow believers in the place where YeHoVaH puts His Name!

• Deuteronomy 16:15

YeHoVaH's Name is placed on us with this Blessing:

• Numbers 6:22-27 King James Version
  22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
  23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
  24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
  25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
  26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
  27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them

Wherever we gather, YeHoVaH’s Name is in the midst of us because His Name is on us. The place, where you gather, is not as important as the worship you offer when you gather. 

Firstfruits Offerings are given on the First Day of Tabernacles. The amount is determined by the giver and Deuteronomy 26:5-10 is recited.
