Shalom Saints,

Arthur opened the service with powerful words to help us receive and keep our healing.  The key is to only come in agreement with the words of YeHoVaH and never give the enemy permission to come back.  The only way to do this is to watch over our words.  Arthur asked the persons that were healed on the preceding Sabbath to give their testimonies on camera.  The healings were miraculous.  One of the healed Sisters added on a very significant caveat, Yeshua is not a halfway healer.  When the anointing is on you, your entire body is healed!  Arthur followed up by saying that if the power of the Almighty is on you to heal you in one area, then that same anointing will heal you in every area of your body.  The Almighty is an ALL-THE-WAY HEALER!

David Rogers opened the main portion of the service with a testimony of the healing he received to overcome a severe shortness of breath.  He said the spiritual world is every bit as real as the physical world that we can see.  Moreover, with the evidence of his healing, David pronounced that we have spiritual authority over the enemy!

David’s start for the teaching was, “Chag Sameach, Happy Pilgrimage Gathering!”  He explained that eating the unleavened bread is a reminder of the deliverance from the clutches of the evil Pharaoh and marching through the desert eating unleavened bread.  After reading the Commandments concerning the Feast of Unleavened Bread, David presented a detailed discussion of “affliction” by elaborating on portions of Psalm 119 where King David is writing about maturing in his faith due to the afflictions he suffered.

David transitioned into an explanation of the meaning of leaven (yeast).  Yeast is a symbol of false doctrines and religious belief systems from which we have been delivered.  The Father authenticated Yeshua’s messages by miracles the Messiah performed, especially the two miracles where loaves were multiplied to feed the 5,000+ and the 4,000+.  The leaven or false teachings of the Pharisees have not been authenticated.  True believers have exited all the nonsense that we were previously exposed to that was not prescribed by the Torah and the prophets.  Listen to the video snippet below as David shared this revelation given to him by the Holy Spirit that morning.

David warned us that we needed to worship the Almighty in the manner in which He has prescribed; not in the manner that we may want to worship Him.  People have the tendency to make up gods based on our images of what a god should be, and then walk out our lives based on those false concepts.  David emphasized that our life needs to mimic the Messiah’s in every way.  That means we should also except to be persecuted and afflicted.

David challenged us by asking if the Messiah could perfect us without us doing what He tells us to do.  False religion will tell you that you don’t have to keep the commandments.  However, Messiah tells us that it is by keeping the commandments that we obtain eternal life.  At this point David, tell us that salvation and eternal life are not the same thing!  Remember, the salvation from oppression in Egypt did not result in eternal life for the Children in the wilderness!

The Commands are still required!  The New Covenant - A Better Covenant (Book)

David pulled together the wisdom he shared with us into a Summary Statement.

If we want to be genuine disciples of Messiah, then we need to be like Him in every way.  Walking in His footsteps means we look like Him, we talk like Him and we experience similar treatment from others.  We will obey Father’s commands.  We will experience testing and affliction from the Father.  And we will be persecuted by those who hate and reject Him.
Let’s remember during this time what the days of unleavened bread are all about.
Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast – as you really are.  For Messiah, our Pesach lamb has been sacrificed.  Therefore, let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.  (1 Corinthians 5:7-8)

Buzz on the Teaching

This was the end of the first weekend of the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread.  Many of the Saints were returning home.  Here are a few of the stories the Saints shared.

  • Sister Saint from Indiana drove all the way to Charlotte by herself.  Her prayers were answered when YeHoVaH made available the provisions, she was able to stay alert the entire trip, and provided safety through tornado and stormy areas going home.  Wonderful Blessings!
  • Sister Saint 1 wanted a ride to Charlotte and then found Sister Saint 2 on the Fellowship Locator. Sister Saint 2 wasn’t able to come for this Feast, but posted a Facebook request for ride sharing.  Sister Saint 3 responded to the post and she and Sister Saint 1 drove to the Feast together.  Sister Saints 1 and 3 discovered that they lived within 3 miles of each other.  That is a “Father” connection!
  • I was talking to a group of four Sister Saints and one mentioned that she used to be a part of the Seventh Day Adventists. I said I was too.  Then she said she had left that church and brought the other three Sisters with her!  HalleluYAH!
  • Several Saints brought family members to expose them to the Hebrew Roots. A Brother Saint brought his brother.  A Sister Saint and her family brought her mother who received a healing!  We have a wonder working Father!

I enjoyed all the Saints that made the trip to Charlotte to fellowship with us.  We had Saints from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Wyoming, Indiana, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Bahamas, and Canada.

Until next time… Blessings to You and Yours,

Sharon
