Arthur was very clear that when renewing your mind, the old mind has to be purged and the new mind accepted as the new occupant. Discipleship is the only way to make the transfer from the old mind to the new mind. Discipleship has to come from the words of YeHoVaH and the teachings of Yeshua in order to be effective.

We were reminded by Arthur, that when Father called the Israelites to Mt. Sinai to renew their minds from a slave mentality to a New and Holy Nation status, YeHoVaH’s goal was to speak directly to His people. This was discipleship at its finest and highest degree. However, after the first ten Commandments were given, the people asked for Moses to be their mediator between YeHoVaH and them.

Throughout the generations since Mt. Sinai, this pattern of wanting a human mediator has been to the detriment of mankind. Today, many of His people are still looking to a human mediator to bring them the words of YeHoVaH. Many mediators are flawed and are not bringing the true message. Their message is filtered through denominational doctrines, power struggles, greed, and other diabolical motivations. The Israelites and modern man have failed to comprehend the importance of Father’s lesson for them that “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of YeHoVaH”.

Many of us don’t trust our ability to hear clearly from YeHoVaH. We don’t trust the fact that Father can speak to us.

The powerful prescription of discipleship was designed by the Creator of the Universe for the purpose of turning slaves into a nation to be envied by the kingdoms of the world. The renewal process would turn an unholy nation into a holy nation. The former slaves would become a New Nation, a New Creation.

1Peter 2:9-10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

YeHoVaH, Himself, called out a people, set them apart, walked with them, led, trained, and equipped them. He is doing this for His disciples today. Yeshua was, and is, sent to call, lead, and disciple the sons and daughters YeHoVaH by walking with, living among, and personally discipling them to become Ambassadors and Representatives of YeHoVaH’s Kingdom.

There is only one caveat, we have to obey YeHoVaH and have faith in Messiah.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

You won’t know what the good, acceptable, and perfect will of Elohim is until you renew your mind. …

We have used excuses to the point that we convince ourselves that we are saved while we continue to disobey and reject Father’s Word and Law.

1 Peter 2:11-12 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

WHAT MUST WE DO?

Arthur outlined these requirements necessary to renew your mind.
