Searching the Scriptures: Is This That? By Minister Tahmi Flemming

More than 2,000 years after the earthly ministry of Yeshua the Messiah, the central theme of His preaching remains clear: “The Kingdom of God is at hand.” This message appears roughly 80 times across the four Gospels, with Matthew often using the phrase “Kingdom of Heaven.”  Given its prominence, the Kingdom of God is a subject that demands serious study. Yet over time, human doctrines and traditions have reshaped the Gospel of the Kingdom into a weakened substitute, stripped of its power. What has been passed down through generations is not the original message Yeshua proclaimed. The gospel that religion preaches is the gospel about Jesus. The fact of the matter is that Yeshua never preached publicly about His birth, life, ministry, death, burial, or the resurrection.
